Ingredients
  

  • 1 3-lb whole chicken
  • Pinch of salt for cavity
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • ¼ tbsp ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  2. Season chicken cavity with salt; secure on rotisserie.
  3. Cook on high for 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and baste with butter mixture.
  5. Continue cooking, basting occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 180°F.
  6. Rest chicken 10–15 minutes before carving.
