Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 4 14.5-oz cans chicken broth
  • 1 14.5-oz can vegetable broth
  • ½ lb cooked chicken breast chopped
  • cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and celery; cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add broths, chicken, noodles, carrots, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
