Ingredients
  

  • 8 bone-in skin-on chicken thighs
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 yellow onions diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sweet Hungarian paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • cup sour cream room temp
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and brown in oil, skin-side down.
  2. Sauté onions until golden; add garlic, tomato paste, and flour.
  3. Stir in spices, then add chicken broth.
  4. Return chicken, cover, and simmer until fork-tender.
  5. Finish sauce with sour cream and heavy cream; return chicken to pan.
