What Is Chicken Dressing?

Chicken dressing is similar to stuffing, but it’s traditionally cooked outside the bird and often made with cornbread, especially in Southern kitchens. Adding chicken makes it heartier and turns it into a satisfying side dish — or even a light main.

This slow cooker version keeps everything tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned.
